Weddings are a great reason to celebrate! Having my own wedding in 2009 made me realise how important the ‘ceremony’ is, after all that IS why you are having the celebration isn’t it?

Celebrations require you to do a lot of preparation and so too should your celebrant. It is important that you take the time to look around and talk to celebrants to get a ‘feel’ of their style. I encourage all couples to meet at least two if not three celebrants, we’re all different and we all have our own style. They are as individual as you are and finding the right one for you can make your wedding day everything you dreamed it could be. The occasion needs to hold importance for them as well otherwise they won’t do their job well.

Having great respect for the institution of marriage, I still believe that weddings should be fun and a wonderful celebration of love.
